“Video projection and poster series. I had various groups of people from Houston: a baptist choir, a meditation class, a break dance group, dogs from a dog park, and ten other groups doing what they normally do but in the gallery space. The video projection sort of recreated them being there one after another. I made a poster for each group, copies went up all over Houston and were also exhibited at the gallery.”
This project addresses the use of space by literally transplanting activities into the Gallery and then superimposing them there eternally through the use of projection.
